I feel I'm very lucky to be a member of YNU Wind and Structural Lab because my professors and my laboratory friends are very nice and so funny \(^-^)/. Therefore, the atmosphere in the lab is very warmly as well as freedom. Besides, I have many great chances to obtain knowledge and experiment by going to construction sites and attending some field trips which are organised by our lab. Moreover, many labs' outdoor activities give us another chance for relaxing and developing friendship mutual. This is a wonderful environment to study as well as enjoy my life in oversea country. Thanks all for everything.

構造研はとてもアットホームな研究室です。 学生はみんな仲が良く、毎日ゲラゲラ笑っています。 先生方はとっても親切で面白く、何かあったらすぐ親身になって相談にのってくださいます。 この研究室に入ると、様々な場所に行けて、たくさんの人との出会いがあり、色々な経験ができます。 OBの方々も活躍されてる方ばかりで、とても勉強になります。 最近は海外で行われるブリッジコンテストに向けて、全員で設計や溶接練習など頑張ってます。 私は構造研に入って、この分野に関われて本当に良かったと思っています。 後悔は全くないです！！ 宴会は多いし、焼肉や寿司もよく食べますしね。

This is according to about one year, my experience at this laboratory. Here I enjoyed the freedom my professors gave me to choose my research topic even if it was out of the normal activities of the laboratory. Also because of friendly atmosphere and everyday talking with friends, I could learn Japanese fast. But unfortunately all the weekly presentations are in Japanese so it is difficult for foreign students to understand them.

僕は，以前は専攻が機械系でした．前の専攻でも間接的にですが橋に関連した研究を行っていました．研究を続ける内に橋そのものについて興味が湧き，この研究室が橋について広く研究していることを知りこの構造研に加わりたいと思いました．

構造研究室は、とても自由な研究室だと思います。 言葉で表すと、人に迷惑をかけない限りは、何をやってもいい、というような感 じです。 先生方は、普段学業で分からないことがあったら相談にのってくれるのはもちろ ん、その他でも親身になって相談に乗ってくれたりするよい先生方です。 …本当に、よい空間ですね。

私が土木を志したのは、多くの人に利用される、大きなものが作りたかったからです。 特に橋が好きです。学生最後の１年を、自由な雰囲気の構造研究室で、橋に関する勉強が出来ることを嬉しく思います。先生や先輩方、同期、みんな優しく、仲が良く、毎日刺激を受けています。　この夏休みはタイで行われるブリッジコンテストに向けて、設計や溶接など頑張っていきたいと思います。
